De vraag wat we ons bij een dergelijk voornemen moeten voorstellen staat centraal in 'Mid-city?; imagining Amsterdam in 2050', het werk van de afstudeerstudio onder leiding van prof. Kees Kaan, die voor een aantal locaties de mogelijke resultaten in beeld heeft gebracht. De toekomst in getallen, woorden en beelden gevat, geeft aanleiding tot debat en het bedenken van alternatieven. Hoe deed men dit eerder in Amsterdam?
