December 16th, 1839 ... [signed] A. Lincoln" [as one of the Managers] -- letter and receipt to Mr. Spears "Received of George Spears in full for postage on the Langams Journal up to the first of July 1839 A. Lincoln PM" -- State of Illinois marriage license of Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd November 4, 1842 -- note "When you can't find it anywhere else look into this".
