Introduction to Comparative Government provides an up-to-date introduction to comparative government and politics by examining the politics of selected industrialized democratic countries, emerging democracies, and developing nations (country chapters are written by different scholars). Designed to expose students to alternative ways to compare political systems, the authors propose a number of classifications of political systems and a general context that allows the nine systems to be compared in varying ways.
