Newly translated from Swedish, this sampling of the soon-to-be-released New Testament devotional commentary series demonstrates Bo Giertz' deep love for the text of scripture and for all of God's children. Originally released in a series of individual booklets and later as a three-volume collection, these explorations of the New Testament text are already well-loved in Sweden. As in all of his works, Giertz' pastor heart is evident as he guides the reader to God's grace in Christ and forgiveness for the sinner at every turn. This devotional commentary is the next, yet certainly not the last, addition to the growing corpus of Bo Giertz work appearing in English for the first time.
