Proposed Westwing to El Sol to Vail, EHV transmission line corridor

"The Department of the Interior proposes to grant a right-of-way to Tucson Gas & Electric Company to construct one transmission line from Phoenix to Tucson, Arizona, in Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima Counties. The proposed line is an extension of the power distribution system from the Navajo Generating Plant. Anticipated power needs in the Tucson area will require additional transmission lines from Phoenix to Tucson which would parallel the proposed line"--Preliminary page.
