Rural urbanism

What major challenges await us in the future, and what roles will our rural designs and the cultivation of organic food play? In other words, urbanism in a rural context? New Ruralism and rural agrarian urbanism may provide solutions to these challenges. This book, with contributions from some of the leading experts in the field, addresses issues such as sustainable food production and community planning in the Food Farming and survival on the Countryside paradigms. One major question highlighted is how food production needs to be rethought, but in such a way that the places we live in have a meaningful relationship with agriculture.
