The Old Library

This lavishly illustrated volume is published to celebrate the tercentenary of the laying of the foundation stone of the world-famous Old Library in May 1712. The stately building houses collections of international importance that are still being added to by gift and purchase. Almost fifty contributors explore the features of this remarkable building and its contents.
