Astronaut families and parachute children

Examines immigration from Hong Kong to Australia in which one or more members of an immigrant family returns to Hong Kong for work or business purposes.The returnees are known as 'astronauts' and the children left are known as 'parachute children'. The study uses relevant statistics and interviews with sixty families in Sydney.
