Juárez a una tinta

The exhibition presents a collection of prints of Mexican hero and President Benito Juarez as viewed by print artists Raúl Anguiano, Lorenzo Guerrero, Sara Jiménez, Francisco Mora, Pablo O'Higgins, Fanny Ravel, Adolfo Mexiac, Leopoldo Méndez and Alberto Beltrán. Although later images enhanced Juarez heroic figure, all were mainly inspired in 2 portraits: a 1847 lithography and a 1867 ink portrait of the historic figure.
