Finding Jonas Williams
About this book
In 1969 human bones were unearthed by workmen at a new office building in the Village of Williamsville New York and historians believed it was the unmarked grave of Jonas Williams founder of Williamsville, New York.
At the time members of the Amherst Historical Society and Town Historian, were willing to be certain that Williamsville had found its forebearer.
My extensive research will show that location is not the grave of Williamsville founder Jonas Williams and that his remains still laid undiscovered until now.
With there being such a diversity of opinion on the burial location of Jonas Williams and whether his remains have been discovered, I have decided to write my thoughts and observations on the topic. So, I am revealing all the information regarding this subject that I have been able to obtain from any source in order to determine the site, which I believe to be the location of Jonas Williams remains.
This is just my opinion from my historical research and my observations. It is not an academic paper but a first-person account of my findings.
Please be mindful that these are human remains and that the location I will reveal is on private property and trespassing is a violation of the law. I in no way endorse trespassing or breaking the law in any form.
