"This volume brings into a common context three representative sources which focus on monetary problems in 17th century Spain. Each source approaches the consequences of coin debasement from a different angle, which allows an enhanced overall view of the magnitude of a problem that affected the whole of the social spectrum in the Spanish Kingdom of Castile for most of the 17th century.
