Secret Love

Carmen La Pierre works at a dead-end job in a local 7-11 on the graveyard shift. She grew up and still lives in her childhood home in Piney Knoll, North Carolina near the Blue Ridge mountains and forests of Asheville. She loves the country, but would much rather live in New York City where she thinks she would have the freedom she so dearly craves. Even nearing fifty, she is still beautiful, fit, slender and always wanting something else, something better...more freedom to be herself.She meets the love of her life, Rose Oliver, at the check-out counter in the store. Their lifelong romance grows from this chance meeting.
