Catalogue of the retrospective of photographer Leo Matiz (Aracataca 1917- Bogotá 1998). The catalogue presents a critical text by curators Sigrid Castañeda y Julien Petit with a detailed chronology of the life and work of the photographer. Includes a text by art historian Álvaro Medina on the origin of the enigmatic series of "Fuegos artificiales" (Fireworks), photographed by Matiz, probably during the 1950's.
