One of the first Russian works to address the concept of the helpless victim and the juridical and psychological characteristics of this status. The work offers methodological recommendations for proving and legally evaluating the helpless victim to make correct decisions in criminal cases; describes the conduct of investigations involving helpless victims; and examines the practical issues involved in protecting their rights, legal interests, and personal safety.
