Maxwell's match

On a two-week staff exchange, Peter 'Mad Max' Maxwell leaves behind his familiar comprehensive for the altogether more sophisticated charms of Grimond's, a private school steeped in tradition and money, but within a day of his arrival Maxwell has yet again stumbled upon a suspicious unnatural death. Two days later another teacher is dead, and this time it's definitely murder. With journalists besieging the school and parents in a panic, the Headmaster is scrambling to preserve Grimonds' reputation. When Maxwell's girlfriend, DS Jacquie Carpenter gets assigned to the case he soon finds himself involved in a complex investigation.
