Eleatica 2011

This book contains the proceedings of Eleatica 2011, an international conference. The Eleatic Lectures of Giovanni Casertano, delivered on the occasion of Eleatica 2011, form the main component of this book. Their aim is to show how Protagoras, Gorgias, and Plato rethought Parmenides' teachings and incorporated them into their own teachings. A discussion follows Casertano's lectures, featuring the contributions of 13 scholars responding to the lectures.
