De meerderheid van de mensen woont vandaag in een stedelijke omgeving. Met dat simpele feit wordt onvoldoende rekening gehouden, zeker wanneer het erom gaat de nodige maatschappelijke en politieke conclusies te trekken. Nochtans gaat het om één van de meest diepgaande herstructureringen in de geschiedenis van de mensheid.
