International reform efforts and challenges in community colleges

The chapters in this volume explore specific issues related to community college international education; they document outstanding programs and discuss strategies for strengthening internationalization efforts. Combined, these chapters confirm that it is critical to understand the variables that make internationalization an essential component of community colleges as well as the obstacles that prevent institutionalization from occurring.
