Asbul takes center stage as the story of his past and the reason for his deep hatred of Laures are revealed. It's vengeance time, and only Hilda stands between an enraged Asbul and her beloved Prince. Hilda faces her own past when she has visions of her previous life as Elis, the woman who promised Laures she would always return. Asbul takes his case to Rod, who has successfully defended the human villagers from the demonic forces of Karon, Lord of Hell. Just as the two plot to defeat Laures, Zadel returns and this time he's out to get Rod.
