One of the best known Christians of the twentieth century, Dietrich Bonhoeffer is admired as a theologian for his unparalleled independence of mind, creativity and brilliance by liberals and conservatives alike. His death at the hands of the Nazis is an extraordinary tale of courage and Christian discipleship.
