No one would play him for a fool. Cressida didn't trust Lord Rupert Dearham. Not one bit! He pretended to be an explorer with no head for business. But Cressida had seen the way he'd stood up to her father's bullying. Thank goodness, then, he hadn't overheard her father's cold blooded order for Cressida to invite Rupert to dinner and "persuade" him to change his mind about selling his publishing interests.
