New transportation systems and concepts

The focus of this Record is new intrametropolitan transportation systems. Some of the themes presented are demand-actuated systems, systems for extended urban areas and major activity centers, evaluation of new systems concepts, implementation of new systems along with recommendations for public priorities and transportation services parameters.
