This is a walkthrough, hints, tips, and strategy guide book for the "Super Star Wars" video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System {SNES}. There are screenshot composite maps, for each of the side scrolling levels. It is a video game adoption of events in the film "Star Wars: Episode IV, A New Hope". It has several grey scale screenshots, and pixel art captured images of the characters, and creatures of the game. The guide is a "Officially endorsed" by LucasArts, and has cheat codes, listed at the end of the book, in a section titled "Secret Codes", which can be entered by pressing a series of button combinations on the title screen. It also has mini biographies about its characters, and creatures. Some of the screenshots from the film are blurred into a impressionist like image, and these or the pixel captured images seem to be the only "original artwork" in the book. The book was originally sold at $12.95 in the U.S.A., and £11.95 in the U.K.
