Ensuring quality of life in Europe's cities and towns

This report aims to raise awareness of the various perspectives on, and perceptions of, quality of life it stresses the challenges ahead to ensure quality of life in the long run for all social groups, and the crucial importance of sustainability and the environment as our life-supporting system. The spatial focus of this report is on cities and towns in Europe. Urban dwellers represent the overwhelming majority of the European population.
