Online version of an exhibition on James Madison that was held at the Library of Congress on March 16, 2001 and curated by James H. Hutson. Featuring objects from the collections at the Library of Congress, focuses on the following two seminal events in which Madison played a major role: the drafting and ratification of the Constitution of the United States and the introduction in the First Federal Congress of the amendments that became the Bill of Rights. Includes family and autobiographical information written in Madison's hand.
