An attempt to compile a virtual seminar of those who had attended or were attending the famous seminar that Professor Pierre Bonnassie, seminal medieval historian of the South of Europe, used to run at the Université Toulouse-le-Mirail, for the occasion of his retirement, covering medieval land use, language, slavery and serfdom, settlement both rural and urban, lordship and feudalism, and lineage and kinship. The volume also includes a list of all the theses Bonnassie supervised in his career at Toulouse.
