The decline of the DIAMAT as state religion has by no means negated the importance of ancient dialectics for modern times. By means of representative passages taken from the three main parts of G. W. F. Hegels: "Wissenschaft der Logik" (Science of Logics) the author demonstrates how the respective figures of dialectical argumentation relate to fundamental problems of sociological theory.
