Wells, this play updates the story of invasion, paranoia, and survival to the twenty-first century.  Set in the southeast US, a mysterious swarm of meteorites strikes the area, sending reporters out to discover what's going on--and what's going on is nothing natural. Soon, via radio, television, and cell phones, everyone discovers that all around the world, these unnatural meteorites are falling, and when alien creatures arise from them, all hell breaks loose.  In the end, humanity itself is at stake, with a few brave souls surviving the maelstrom, and trying to discover the truth behind what is going on.
