The Flower and the Storm

Something is wrong at the Abbey Lodge Hotel, but Phillida cannot work out what it is. There is no escape from the bitterness of her ex-fiance, who is slowly being torn apart by something Phillida does not understand. With the help of Simon Bluett, she stumbles across a clue to the truth and emerges from her confrontation with death having learned some chastening facts about herself.
