Spring Chicken

Is Saffron's best friend a murderer? Spring in Maika'i brings exciting news and booming business at the local flower shop. But it also brings tragedy. Someone is dead. Officer Bradley is out of town, replaced by an overzealous new deputy who has already thrown Saffron behind bars. But she's not the only Maika'i resident who finds herself in trouble with the law. Holly and the Empress are locked up, too, and time is running out for them. But then Saffron's tetrachromacy--her ability to see more colors than other people--leads her to a clue that everyone else missed.
