On being a deacon's wife

The wife of the deacon will be able to give significant support only as she understands the role her husband assumes with ordination. If she is to be supportive in his "other vocation," she needs to think in terms of how she may enhance and encourage his service as a deacon. This is a vast area, yielding opportunities for every kind of woman, whatever her skills and interests.
