Draft Model Cities application, City of New York

This application is for planning funds for the Demonstration Cities Program. Funding for the program is expected from the Model Cities legistation and a contribution from the City of New York in order to permit construction of additional public facilities, to assist in the rehabilitation of housing or make possible construction of additional units of housing at rents which the residents of the South Bronx, East and Central Harlem and Central Brooklyn can afford. These neighborhoods will be designated as Model Neighborhoods.
