As a hardened Philadelphia detective, Vito Ciccotelli is used to expecting the worst, but when he is called to a remote murder site, he is revolted by the carnage - a graveyard of bodies with horrific injuries. When the medical examiner reveals that the injuries are consistent with instruments of medieval torture, Ciccotelli knows this is no ordinary murder case.
