It was a wonderful job Nicky had got herself--representative for a travel firm on the lovely holiday island of Corfu. In fact everything would have been perfect had it not been for the hotel owner, the lordly Nikos Alexandros, who seemed to think there was something unfeminine about the whole thing and that Nicky would do better to be domesticated and submissive, like his fellow-countrywomen.
