The Dead Ways are opening...The Government has a plan to clean up the environment - closing down motorways and returning the roads to nature. But beneath the roads lie the Dead Ways, ancient lines of power sealing off this world from the next and imprisoning a long-forgotten evil. If the Dead Ways are opened, it will unleash an apocalypse of the dead. When Scott Williams' father is found dead in his government office, Scott resolves to find out the truth behind his death. DI Jason Dyer is investigating the case, but the two of them soon uncover a deeper mystery. Scott and Jason find themselves caught in a sinister conspiracy controlled by a powerful secret society.
