Marianne was young, she was in Paris—that perfect setting for romance—and she had landed herself a glamorous job at the dress house of Florian, that most celebrated of all dress designers, and she was in love with Nat. On the face of it, things could not have been going better. The only snag was that she was not at all sure of Nat's feelings. Did he really look upon her as anything but an accommodating younger sister?
