The man from Bar-20

The man from Bar-20
About this book
Johnny Nelson thought life on the Bar-20 was the best. Even after most of his friends had moved to the Tin Cup in Montana, he'd stayed on the Bar-20 in Texas. When farmers, sheep, barbed wire, and railroad towns made life unbearable, Johnny moved north to join his friends on the Tin Cup. But it seemed his friends were suffering from matrimony disease and were no longer available for Johnny's idea of a good time. Johnny figured he'd have to get married too if he was going to fit in and that wasn't happening. So he left to find greater adventure. Riding into Hastings, he's mistaken for a man named Logan and decides to head out to the CL ranch to find Logan and maybe land a job. Logan takes an instant liking to Nelson, especially after learning he is from the Bar-20. Logan hires Nelson and soon the two are plotting to catch the rustlers who have been stealing CL cattle.
