Battered, Broken Bodies

Body horror, biological horror, organic horror or visceral horror is horror fiction in which the horror is principally derived from the unnatural graphic transformation, degeneration or destruction of the physical body. Such works may deal with decay, disease, deformity, parasitism, mutation or mutilation - Wikipedia's definition. Matt Shaw has compiled a "must read" for all fans of horror, featuring some of the biggest names currently working in the horror genre. The authors were given one instruction: The story must be based around BODY HORROR. When the authors asked what the limits were, Matt Shaw simply said, "No limits."
