Challenger Park

Astronaut Lucy Kincheloe's personal life is in tatters. Her marriage to Brian, also an astronaut, is deteriorating and her son is very ill. These earthbound human concerns will haunt her as she blasts off into space on her first shuttle flight. Only after a space accident that renders the world below distant and perhaps unreachable, are things put in context.
