Ernesto Ottone continues the story of his political life, which began with his successful book El viaje rojo, is precisely the work he did in which he formally became known from the Unidad de Análisis Estratégico, which he headed, in the government of Ricardo Lagos. These memories begin with the return to Chile of Ottone in 1989 and landing at the Cepal, where he was part of an important group of intellectuals doomed to renew progressive thinking on the continent.
