The Terminator

Set in the post-Judgment Day future, the story follows John Connor and the human Resistance as they appear close to defeating Skynet and its armies of Terminators. As a desperate countermeasure, Skynet activates a secondary allied AI network within the ruins of the Soviet Union. This network begins its own campaign to continue the extermination of humanity, deploying advanced infiltration Terminators modelled on real people to infiltrate and destroy the Soviet Resistance from within. Meanwhile, the machines attempt a final catastrophic plan involving a nuclear submarine to wipe out human forces. The series focuses on the brutal ground war between Resistance fighters and Skynet’s machines, highlighting espionage, infiltration units, and humanity's desperate struggle to survive and end the war against the machines.
