Frank Brunner's Seven samuroid

Two-thousand years ago a terrible war was fought over the public issues of robots. Thus, was created the Samuroids, virtually immortal constructs who were charged with the protection of innocent lives and the rights of oppressed droids everywhere. These Samuroids were encoded with ethics based on the legendary culture of the samurai. In the ensuing years following the Robotoid Wars, these protectors have remained dormant ... until now.
