The Pinacoteca de São Paulo, in addition to changing its name -the institution adopted the surname Pina- opened the exhibition Coleções em diálogo: Museu Paulista e Pinacotecaʺ. The exhibition comprises selected holdings of the museum by Brazilian Afrodescent artists. Artists include: Arthur Timótheo da Costa, Mestre Valentim, Rubem Valentim, Antonio Bandeira, Antonio Bandeira, Jaime Lauriano, Rosana Paulino, Romulo Vieira Conceição, Emanoel Araújo, Miguelzinho Dutra and Octávio Araújo.
