Companion to College English

Companion to college English, second edition, is intended as a supplementary text for freshman English courses in Christian schools. It can also provide a Christian perspective fro a Christian student enrolled in a secular English program, or for a pastor or layman drawn into a writing ministry without formal preparation. It includes sample writing by students who began with self-doubts but succeeded through patient effort. Ending most of the chapters as well as imbedded within them are excerpts from the works of professional writers that illustrate the point being made. - Back cover.
