Taming Fire

Rays of sunshine, the smell of fresh cut grass, and quiet country living. That’s how my summer in midwest America was going to be spent. Bringing the Knights home to meet my parents and spend time with my family was supposed to be relaxing. The perfect getaway to reset and heal from the physical and mental scars the Dark Lord left on me. Unfortunately, his evil knows no bounds. I’m quickly learning that the Dark Lord would go to any lengths–across oceans and continents–to destroy me when I least expected it. To make matters even worse, he brought help from the depths of hell. Faced with a new set of challenges, I’m left to question if everything I’m doing involving the Elementi and my new reality is worth it all. Is love for my guys, for the world, and for myself, enough to keep fighting for when we might have no hope of winning?
