A commemorative collection paying tribute to Liang Sicheng on the 40th anniversary of his death. This preeminent architect is recognized as the father of modern Chinese architecture. He has the son of Liang Qichao, the noted Qing dynasty reformer. The book has four parts: family albums of Liang Sicheng, articles written by Liang Sicheng, homework he did at the University of Pennsylvania, and some of the letters Liang Sicheng exchanged with his wife during his later years. Some photos, letters and hand drawings in the book are revealed to the public for the first time.
