Marcel Proust -- Lektüre und Intermedialität

Proust's aesthetics of reading leads to a series of media studies that show the connection between reading and intermediality. The research appears as a reading and theater novel that illustrates the interplay and interrelationships between various arts and media: the correspondence of the senses, synesthesia, dream scenarios and a figural aesthetic that inspires current media and perception theories and at the same time the spectrum of Proust readings expanded. This volume is designed to illustrate the guiding principle of an intermedia aesthetic of reading in the research through concrete examples.
