Papers that cast new light on complex and diverse mechanisms women use to negotiate with and between social norms about maternity and their choices regarding reproductive health. Grouped into three sets of topics: current challenges and achievements in reproductive health and rights; transgressions of body (criminal as well as institutionalized violence); and references to maternity in labor law, film, social histories and other scenarios.
