Presents a biographical and interpretive study and an illustrated catalogue raisonné of the paintings, drawings, prints and illustrations of the Spanish painter Luis Paret (1746-1799). The catalogue raisonné includes 79 paintings, 204 drawings, 85 prints and illustrations for books, and 73 works which have been destroyed or are lost. An appendix has transcriptions of 112 documents. Includes a list of exhibitions in addition to a chronology, bibliography and subject index.
