Consists of three performance scripts: Performance/Body/Self, Lay of the Land, and Rooted. Along with these scripts, he shares essays about his wedding to the fine novelist Alistair McCartney, his role in cofounding the crucial performance spaces PS 122 and Highways, and the intersections of speech competitions and performance practice that continue to play a role in his life as he travels the country presenting workshops and performances.
